No matter the trends, several colors can always be spotted on style icons. Bright colors like red, which I just shared in my last post), neutrals like white and black. Compared to heavy black which is commonly seen during fall and winter, white is truly a spring/summer color.

When thinking of white, first things that came into my mind are Chanel and Karl Lagerfeld. Karl loves white for its pure and flawless: “In white, you can hide nothing.” Another designer Peter Dundas is also a big fan of white. He said that white is his black.

Today I featured three celebrities in white: from big event appropriate look ( Jennifer Aniston’s ), casual laid back look ( Ashlee Simpson’s ) to office friendly look (Jessica Olba’s ). Hope they can give you some inspirations!

First is dressy look from Jennifer Aniston. I’m surprised to see her on white since she constantly chose safety black on red carpet. She looks so fresh and stunning on this Burberry gown!  But when it comes to accessories, Jennifer kept them simple as always.

Second is a relax weekend look from Ashlee Simpson. Compared to Jennifer’s “less is more”, Ashlee is a romantic (“more is more”). To achieve her bohemian look, besides a breezy dress, you really need tons of accessories. Ethnic embellishment pieces are also perfect choices for Bohemian style, like Ashlee’s clutch here.

Last but not least, is an office friendly look from stylish mom Jessica Alba. Monochrome is a huge  trend this season. If you are not to the point of trying a bold color head-to-toe, then neutrals are good choices, especially white during this time of the year.

For this outfit, Jessica Alba chose two different bags (the picture below), but notice that you can find both of the colors on her hat? She is teaching us a go-to styling tip.

I'm Helen. In the huge fashion world, what attracts me the most is the way different people accessorize themselves. Our daily outfit choices are not just about the pieces we pick, they relate to something lurking deeply within our hearts: how we feel about ourselves, how we express ourselves to the rest of the world, what kind of people do we want to be and what kind of life do we want to live. Following my passion for fashion, I immerse myself in this bizarre world and try my best to share what I learned with you!
