Denim jacket is truly a trusty staple piece that we can throw on and go. Here I featured two looks to share with you how to team it with some of the newest trends this season and look effortlessly chic. The best part? With some minor change, women of any age can rock these looks beautifully!
The center piece of this look (below) from Jessica Alba is definitely her watercolor printed jeans. To highlight that, she kept every else simple and neutral: A grey denim jacket along with white tee, grey strappy sandal and neutral crossbody bag created a perfect canvas. A delicate necklace brought out the blue in the jeans.

From Rosie Huntington-Whiteley’s look below, we can spot several trends: leopard bag (yes, this spring/summer, you can carry your favorite leopard bags, a bright hue is better!), midi skirt and ankle cuff sandals. Since midi skirt and shoes with thick ankle strap can make our legs look shorter, take a hint from Rosie Huntington, choose a body-hugging, high-waisted pencil skirt, team it with a cropped jacket. This light wash denim jacket on her really brought freshness to her monochrome look, along with cool aviator sunglasses, it balanced the feminine and formal vibe of the midi.

Unlike last spring when pastels dominated streets, saturated brights take center stage this season. Among them, orange and raspberry are two of my favorites. From clothing to accessories, they will surely spice up all our summer whites!
As you can see above, orange is our featured color today. Since the shade is so bright and eye-catching, team it with neutral pieces, then choose one or two accessories in the same color family or the same shade to enhance the overall impact, like the two ladies did above.
Tangerine is not something new (since Pantone revealed it as the color of 2012, it hasn’t gone anywhere), so in order to make the look more current, Alessandra Ambrosio played a new maxi skirt trend: the double side slit version! Yes, the maxi dresses/skirts have gone from side slit to high-low to double split now!
Last but not least, keep proportions in mind: team a maxi skirt with a sleeveless slim fit top. If you want the eyes focus on your body-hugging pencil skirt and the sexy subtle side slit, keep your arms covered.
