There are many reasons why people throughout the world all like Princess Kate. For me, the reason is her infectious smile which can melt everything. She is always so elegant, humble and grateful. I was especially impressed by her easy casual yet stylish outfits during the Olympics. If you are still indecisive about what to wear to the stadium, take cues from Kate:
First, choose sportswear with a great color combination. My favorite ones are navy/white ( like these from Adidas and The North face), and cobalt/white (like this The North face version). I’m wary of the neon color which is already sport associated thus not good in a sportswear, too much.
And choose one that fits you. Don’t wear your brother’s or BF’s tee. See how polish Kate was in that perfectly fitted white polo shirt? My favorite Polos are definitely from Ralph Lauren. Crisp striped version is also a great option. If you go with dark hues, this navy one is perfect, go with everything, especially with white jeans; and look much chicer than black.
Last but the most important: add some feminine touch to your outfit, either a pair of wedges, like this Stuart Weitzman pair Kate worn many times and it’s on sale here and here now!); a pair of trendy sunglasses (like the one by Givenchy on Kate); or a piece of simple designed jewelry. We can’t afford Kate’s engagement ring, but a silver simplicity bracelet (my favorite is this one) or a delicate necklace (like this one) is perfect to add just the right amount of glamour.
