And that’s why I extremely appreciated Gphoebe Philo’s taking over Celine. In less than four years, the somehow sleepy brand has been successfully reinvigorated. Now it has already become a well-known and well-loved legend.
Just like the designer who wants to stay pretty anonymous outside the industry but is always remembered and mentioned when we see her works, this austere bag wants to stay quiet and understated, but definitely conveys the carrier’s taste and ethic.
