Wear It Now and Later: Leather Pants

Slouchy leather pants are great alternative to the ubiquitous leather leggings. they are relaxed, comfy, unexpected and very flattering. This season, pick a pair with elastic waist for a cool sporty touch (and one more dessert, anyone?). I love how Alessandra Ambrosio juxtaposed hers against sexy and feminine bow pumps. The look was best complemented with her off-duty nonchalance.

For now, wear the pants with a right-on-trend cropped jumper and a long vest or blazer for the right balance. When it’s warmer, pair it with your well-worn graphic tee or a flowy embroidered top.

Soft pastels are big this season. Compare to saccharine powder pink, I prefer baby blue for a more grown-up, sophisticated vibe. This color is great for any age, and surprisingly versatile: it goes well with neutrals, like white, brown and black showed above, while blends perfectly with other soft hues like lavender and peach sherbet. My favorite way to wear this color now is with bright saturated primary colors, especially red. How will you play with it?

In Chinese: 嫩嫩的马卡龙色这一季非常热，比较起浅粉、鹅黄，我更喜欢今天造型里的这种冰蓝色，清澈纯洁中又不失优雅，什么年纪都可以尝试。这个颜色其实比想象中要好搭很多，可以像这两个造型里一样，和白色、棕色、黑色等中性色配，这也是最安全的穿法。和其它浅色比如薰衣草紫或浅黄、淡粉等搭配也非常好看，像巴宝莉秀场上展示的一样。我最喜欢的是这一季的新配法：和高饱和度的基本色搭配，比如这种冰蓝和正红色配在一起就非常出彩。你呢？你会怎么搭？

Will spring ever come? I can’t believe another storm is coming! While we still need winter coats and heavy boots to combat the cold, a great way to infuse lightness is a pair of fresh white jeans.
