As a petite girl myself, I find that the most flattering jackets for me are cropped or hip-length ones. The latter are especially versatile for their seasonless apparel and easy-going vibe: they go great with almost anything, from dresses to leggings, from skinny jeans to wide-leg trousers; they add extra warmth without overwhelming our frame; they are also acceptable indoor & outdoor.
The only downside of hip-length jackets is they can cut our legs.
