Update Your LWDs (Part 1)

LWD (little white dress) has many faces. Today I featured two, one is city chic, another is refined bohemian. When hunting for white dresses, I always look for details that make one current (like this one with dropped waist shape and flounce hem seen above left), or use accessories for that up-to-date touch, the radiant orchid oxford, chunky necklace worn as a bracelet, and mirrored sunglasses seen here are the best illustrations for that. An unexpected, crisp and oh-so-chic summer look from Olivia Palermo. We have seen her in mixed checks here. For this look she combined them with another classic pattern–plaids. The various directions of the lines add charm and modern vibe to the look. Menswear loafer toughens up the flowy shirt and flirty peplum hem skirt while an embellished clutch bag adding just right amount of color, glamour and luxe touch. This is a very versatile look that is great for casual or dressy occasions.

Some contend that pairing black with brown is a faux pas, but today’s featured outfits from style savvy show that it can be so easy, chic and effortlessly cool, whether you want to go for a feminine vibe with sexy pumps and a strappy jumpsuit or opt for a masculine touch with tough leather and two-tone loafers. These looks are ageless and versatile, great for the office, shopping, or hanging out with friends.
