Monochrome Chic: Combine Classic with Modern

Olivia Palermo has been wearing a lot of black and white pieces lately, my favorites are these two looks above. With intricate details, dynamic patterns and a pop of brights, she gave the simple black and white a reinterpretation, making this classic combo bold, delicate and fashion-forward.

For her first outfit (above left), black and white, stripes, see-through trends blend together harmoniously thanks to the simple color palette and classic silhouette. As always, details and accessories make a big difference, as showed in her second outfit above: with the delicate laser cut out, well-thought printed clutch, sophisticated Mary Jane pump, and subtle yellow & purple color block, it’s hard to believe that her dress is only a $66 piece from kohl’s!

这一季的时装周期间常看到时尚偶像Olivia Palermo穿黑白色的单品。我最喜欢的是上面的这两个造型，精美繁复的镂空细节，动态变化的条纹图案以及恰到好处的亮色点缀重新演绎了原本是极简代名词的黑与白。

她的第一个look把今年大热的透视、条纹及黑白等几个流行趋势融合地不着痕迹，技巧在于保持整体色调干净，而且每件单品的剪裁和线条也很简洁。第二个look里的这条镂空的皮裙我已经等了好久，是Catherine Malandrino为Kohl‘s设计的系列里我最喜欢的一件。简单的线条，硬朗皮革和蕾丝般精美的雕花所形成的冲突感已经让人很难相信它这么平价，只有$66！再配上优雅的玛丽珍包鞋和抢眼又有复古风情的黄色手包，瞬间就像漫步在巴黎街头的名媛。
