Weekend is almost here, the last thing you want to think about is the following Monday. But today’s featured outfit will make you look forward to go back to work! Reese Witherspoon’s grid print top updated the work wardrobe quintessential. Her slightly mismatched red bags and pink cutout heel combo, along with statement jewelry add fashionable vibe and extra kick.

A new way to wear your shirtdress: leave it open from the waist down, showing off a pair of eye-catching shorts, which adds dimension and details to the look, also gives the soft and preppy shirtdress a trench-coat-alike chicness. Finish off the look with sexy lace up sandals and gold accents to balance out the menswear inspired outfit.

Modified versions of the classic white button-down are definitely on-trend now. Beside this one by ‘T-master’ Alexander Wang, I also suggest this affordable and versatile version which can be layered with anything from shorts to skirts and pants.

Why I love the look: Once again, accessories make the outfit.

Shopping Tip: This season, look for pumps, sandals or flats with curved asymmetrical straps like the enviable pair seen on Emma Stone. The strap elegantly swoops across her foot, the floating effect is flattering and oh-so-sexy.
