Weekend is almost here, the last thing you want to think about is the following Monday. But today’s featured outfit will make you look forward to go back to work! Reese Witherspoon’s grid print top updated the work wardrobe quintessential. Her slightly mismatched red bags and pink cutout heel combo, along with statement jewelry add fashionable vibe and extra kick.

Desk to Dinner

One reason I really admire Miranda Kerr’s style is the simplicity and versatility, especially after she became a mom. Take these two outfits for example, I can easily picture her wear the left one with a ballet flat or loafer for playing with Flynn, then change her red scalloped pump for business meetings (with an outerwear that is stored in her roomy tote to put on when in the air-conditioned office). In the afternoon, simply change the dressy trousers and heels with a flowy maxi skirt and flat sandals, she looks dinner-ready, and the outfit will be comfy enough for an after-dinner walk too.

In Chinese: 熟悉的读者都知道我非常钟爱米兰达·可儿(Miranda Kerr)的穿衣风格，一个重要的原因是她的造型非常简约而且只需要简单的变化就能适合各种场合，很适合忙碌的上班族，尤其是她自己当了妈妈以后的那些出街造型。比如今天的这两个，左边的搭配换上芭蕾平底鞋或乐福鞋，就可以和儿子去公园玩，换上她的这双侧边有水波装饰的红色低跟鞋，加上放在大包里的外套，就可以去办公室了。下午只要简单地把裤子换成飘逸的雪纺长裙，加上平底凉鞋，和一抹红唇，把长发放下来，就可以去约会了，饭后散步时也看起来清爽舒适又漂亮。

Two great neutral outfits that are anything but boring. A small accessory—belt—had a profound impact on today’s featured looks. A midi skirt paired with a long shirt can be dangerous in terms of proportion, a belt that helps define the waist line and create layers solves the problem with ease. So does it for the look on the right: a hip length top paired with flats can make our legs appear very short, a waist belt combined with a mini skirt create the harmonious proportion while elongating the legs.

A reader Karin (Hi, Karin!) asked me what to wear to stay on trend in her 50s, while, the hot midi skirt trend is definitely for you! Change the crop tank top to any top in your closet, I can see you rock this look (above left) beautifully!

In Chinese: 今天分享两个低调却潮感十足的造型。你可能也注意到了，一个小小的配件–皮带–在这两个造型里都起到了非常关键的作用：第一个造型里中长裙和长衬衫原本是很危险的搭配，但借助一条腰带强调腰线，就轻松扭转了整身的效果。同样，第二个造型里的中长T恤搭配平底鞋会非常容易显腿短，加上一条腰带，再配上迷你短裙，腿部线条瞬间被拉长了。

一个读者问我50多岁怎么穿出时尚感，我觉得今天的第一造型就非常适合你，只要把里面的短款上衣换成你衣橱里已有的其它背心，你穿这套一定非常优雅！
