After the holiday season, my strapless cocktail dresses are just sitting in closet collecting dust. The above four looks really inspired me: by adding pieces under or over it, and combining with different accessories, a night-time strapless dress can definitely see good days! Below I played around this gorgeous classic yet sexy lace dress, resulted in four glamorous ensembles that are great for many occasions: brunch, hanging out with friends, a fun girl’s night out, or even a bridal shower! Short coats and jackets are great transitional pieces, they keep us warm without the heaviness of a long coat. I love how today’s featured ladies played with proportions by teaming skinny bottoms with their cocoon coat and fluffy fur jacket, respectively. Bringing in light, bright colors is also a great way to get in the mood for spring, like the convertible metal bar red bag and white sweater on Kate Hudson.

 I have love-hate relationship with parkas, need them when it’s freezing cold outside while challenged when it comes to styling. Today’s two looks inspired me, I love how Gisele Bundchen kept hers sleek and sexy with skinny jeans, killer booties and an It bag, envy how Miranda Kerr made the impossible combination of super comfy and super chic by mixing sweatpants and sneakers with covetable Hermes and sultry red lips.
