When I first saw this Isabel Marant boot on Nicky Hilton (here) this summer, my thought was “Wow! It’s amazing! Everything on trend now is on these babies: multi-material (leather back, suede front), embellishments, pointy toe and the geometric silhouette… But I can never pull them off! They are too busy!”

Hi everyone! I hope you are all having a great week so far. I went on vacation in Lake Placid with my family last week. It’s my first time to go there and I really enjoyed everything: the magnificent views from top of Whiteface Mountain, the relaxing time kayaking on Mirror lake, the exquisite arts and crafts on Main Street, and the fun camping adventures… Grateful for the experience, I want to share with you some of my outfits and also some travel tips.
The first must-see place in my list is Whiteface Mountain. It’s the fifth-highest mountain in New York State, and one of the High Peaks of the Adirondack Mountains. Views from the top are gorgeous. Thanks to the Veterans Memorial Highway, we can drive all the way up, nearly to the peak, which means hiking there requires minimum equipment. That’s perfect for me to transform outfit since I plan to spend the rest of the day in town.
