Things I learned from Miranda Kerr: Basics can be so chic; Stay comfy yet fabulous can be so easy! How Petites Rock Thigh-high Boots

With a small frame, it really took me a long time to wrap my head around the notion of thigh high boots. After trying out a few, I found that it’s all about the right fit: it has to be slimming from the ankle to the thigh area. About the length, those end below the mid thigh are more flattering and proportional to my frame. When it comes to styling, pair them with casual Tees or girly flare skirts/dresses to keep them from looking too sexy.

In Chinese: 我本身也是矮个儿一族，所以对于大热的大腿靴也是犹豫了很长时间才决定挑战看看。试了几次之后发现只要选对款式，娇小女孩完全可以穿，关键在于靴筒要从脚踝开始就非常服帖，一直到大腿的部分都要合，才会显得腿更纤细修长。长度的话最好在膝盖上三寸左右，不要过高。日常穿搭时配上休闲的条纹T恤、针织衫或女孩风的伞裙来平衡大腿靴的性感。

Short coats and jackets are great transitional pieces, they keep us warm without the heaviness of a long coat. I love how today’s featured ladies played with proportions by teaming skinny bottoms with their cocoon coat and fluffy fur jacket, respectively. Bringing in light, bright colors is also a great way to get in the mood for spring, like the convertible metal bar red bag and white sweater on Kate Hudson.

In Chinese: 短大衣或夹克是换季时的衣橱救星，保暖的同时又没有秋冬长大衣的厚重感。想要更显轻巧，比例就很重要了，今天的这两个造型里看到的上宽下窄的结构就是典型的比例搭配法。引入淡雅或明艳的色彩也是乍暖还寒时点亮心情的好办法，比如Kate Hudson的这款当红的金属杠手包和她身上的白毛衣。
