Late summer/early fall is my favorite time of the year because it’s the time to be more creative and have more fun, to combine summer pieces with cold weather garments, to play with lightweight materials and chunky textures…Since we broke the “No white after Labor day” rule, teaming summer crisp white with fall rich earth tone adds more interesting contrast to our looks.

If the key words for summer accessories are “bold” and “bright” (like these sunny yellow goodies featured here), then for the coming season they should be “embellished” and “animal printed”. About the sizes? Big enough for your ipad or small enough just for your smart phone and lipstick, nothing in between.

The accessory that I invest in every season is a pair of of-the-moment sunglasses. Don’t like trendy clothes that have age limits, sunglasses are definitely ageless. The fastest way to update a look is throwing on the latest shades.
