This year color is the new neutral, everyone is craving colors. Since we will continue to see a lot of colors and beyond (luxurious brocades and embellishments), why stop wearing them? Today I picked six colorful outfits that are great for late summer/early fall. I want to share with you three of my favorite ways combining colors which are also incorporated in today’s looks. Let’s jump right into it!
First is my all-time favorite: sun and sky! Yes, you got it: yellow and blue! I love blue color so much (last time featured it here). If you are still not used to colors, different shades of blue are great options to start. Pairing a unique eye-catching blue clutch and a mustard pencil skirt, you can make this combo modern and elegant. Wearing a classic double breast wool coat and a bright cobalt blue Hobo, you can make it urban sophisticated. Teaming a playful penguin yellow sweater and the legendary PS1 bag, you can make it preppy and effortlessly chic.

Alexander McQueen clutch & Classiques Entier skirt (great buy here)
Proenza Schouler bag (suede version here) & Sugarhill Boutique sweater
Marc by Marc Jacobs Hobo & Weekend Max Mara coat
Juxtaposing high contrast black and white graphic pieces against bright solid colors adds more creation and playful vibe to our looks.
Haircalf is my favorite material. I love to see it on bags and shoes. So this haircalf with lamb nappa clutch becomes a must-have at first sight. I like pairing it with a blue dress that has modern silhouette and this one by Rachel Roy fits the bill perfectly.
Collecting Fashion’s night out tee shirts and totes becomes part of my shopping routine in the past three years. Compared with the joy they bring and the responsibility behind, the FNO pieces worth every penny.
I’ve always been greatly inspired by the ways other fashion fellows styled their FNO pieces. For this year, I will pair this fabulous eco-friendly tote with this sexy glittering pointy toe pumps (so worth the price!) for workday and with this of-the-moment Isabel Marant sneakers for a laid-back weekend look.

Another bright color I wear frequently and have featured in my blog many times is the color red (last time featured it here). It’s such a glamorous feminine color. For a strong statement color like this, sometimes a little goes a long ways (think of Miranda Kerr’s scarlet lips). Below I want to focus on red accessories by sharing three ways to style them: Classic leopard pumps give a studded high quality red leather bag an attractive adventure vibe; A cheerful orange cheetah scarf brings youth to this floppy brim fedora. A glossy, croc-embossed peacock leather bag makes this burgundy haircalf belt even more luxurious and lust worthy (let alone the reasonable price tags!)

Rag & Bone fedora (great buy here) & Tory Burch scarf
Linea Pelle belt & Brahmin Tote (also adore this shoulder version)
