The Middleton sisters in colored jeans

I deeply believe that all the art forms are connected, so always look for outfit inspirations on painters, architects, and in today’s case, interior designers, who are sensitive to proportions and color/texture combinations.

Today’s featured look is from talented interior designer Sarah Lavoine. Many of you may already spotted similar looks on the street, but what make Sarah’s ensemble stand out are the details: wearing oversized sweatshirt slightly off the shoulder; choosing of-the-moment accessories, like her gold cuff and thick ankle-strap sandals.

The best part of this look? It’s ageless. I can see women in any age, from teenagers to 40+, rock this combo. Besides the universally flattering electric blue color, I picked other four colors that I collected for myself and found are versatile and very easy to pull off (take cues from the Middleton Sisters above). Good luck scoring a pair of your own!

I'm Helen. In the huge fashion world, what attracts me the most is the way different people accessorize themselves. Our daily outfit choices are not just about the pieces we pick, they relate to something lurking deeply within our hearts: how we feel about ourselves, how we express ourselves to the rest of the world, what kind of people do we want to be and what kind of life do we want to live. Following my passion for fashion, I immerse myself in this bizarre world and try my best to share what I learned with you!
