Olivia Palermo street style 2014; How to wear distressed/ripped jeans; denim on denim;

Somehow these two looks take me back to my college years. When the youthful denim is paired with innocent colors like crisp white, powder blue or baby pink, it results an outfit that instantly makes us look and feel 10 years younger. Since we have gone so far from there, show off our hard work with enviable add-ons, like a pair of luxurious loafers or an on-trend handbag.

Blue/white is a long-loved combination. Here, these two angles use distressed jeans, blue chambray shirt and biker jacket to give this traditional palette a modern interpretation. Sexy pointy toe stilettos and covertable bags polish up the whole look.

White jeans are tricky to pull off. If you are confident about your legs, choose skinny version and go up one size. There’s nothing worse than white jeans that are too tight! If you are not comfortable with your thighs, or you simply prefer a relaxed look, this pair on Rosie Huntington Whiteley is right for you, slouchy on top, skinny at bottom.

Don’t know how to wear the denim on denim trend, let alone rock it for a night-out? Olivia Palermo told us how: a two-tone tux blazer breaks the two-piece look while adding some formalness. Glitter add-ons are night-out essentials. Apply the rule through accessories like her killer heels and that barely-leaves-her cut-out bangle.
