Two office-friendly looks for you today: Taylor Swift made a trendy crop top and peg leg pants office-appropriate thanks to her smart choices of color, fabric and elevated accessories. Angelina Jolie took an opposite approach by making traditional work-wardrobe staples (from cigarette pants to black pumps) fashionable and glamorous with hot sunglasses and gold accents.

Wearing head to toe white can make us look washed out. Cheryl Cole varied textures (from sheer to lace) and hues (from cream to nude) while Taylor Swift opted for soft pastels (from buttercup yellow to polignac pink). The bright blue sunglasses and scarlet lips add a pop of color to their outfits, respectively.

I’m mesmerized by the idea of wearing a trench coat as a dress, nothing underneath. The contrast is so sexy. For an ubiquitous basic piece like this, I like to look for details: Capelet, contrast sleeves, luxurious material, or fun colors makes one stand out. Here, Blake Lively showed us how to wear it for day and night. Her unstudied attitude and signature tousled hair are the best accessories!
