At 22 weeks pregnant, the discomfort is almost gone, I’m starting to enjoy this journey now. And exciting news to share with all of you: we are expecting a —- boy! He is so active everyday. Even during my ultrasound, he kept moving around, sucking his little fingers.

My body has changed a lot in the past five months. With the limited (and boring) clothing choices, handbags have become my trusty friends to keep my outfits fresh and updated. Luckily, this catalog is always worth the investment, whether we are expecting or not, right?

Starting from last season, the key word for handbags has become “small”. For those of you who are also in the market for a great arm candy for the warm weather ahead, or investment versions that can be carried year round, I picked six types of stylish cross body bags/clutches that I’m lusting over. As the temperature gets higher, our calendar is gradually filled with different kinds of events. Whether it’s a music festival or a wedding ceremony, when it comes to jewelry, dropped earring is a great finishing touch for your outfit without competing with your beautiful garment.

Today, I picked seven of my favorite looks that incorporated dropped earring. These stylish ladies (showed above), ranging from 24 to 46 years old, with different hairstyles, face shapes, dress choices, and most importantly, personal styles, sure can teach us a thing or two about how to choose and wear drop earrings.

An off-shoulder dress calls for earrings instead of necklace. I love this understated pair that Natalya Rovner chose: the size suits her small oval shaped face without competing with her mask; the hint of gold around the drop lends just right amount of lux glamour to her LBD.

Amanda Seyfried is one of my favorite actresses. She has a unique innocent sexiness. Many of her looks reflect this attractive dichotomy. As you can see from above, these three stylish ladies, in their 20s, 30s and 40s, showed us four completely different styles of black and white: from Gwyneth Paltrow’s understated classic to Alessandra Ambrosio’s rock chic edge to Rihanna’s carefree spirit.

First two looks are from 40-year-old Gwyneth Paltrow. From the knee-length dress to oversized boyfriend blazer and shorts combo, she showed us how to be trendy yet age-appropriate.

Another thing we can learn from this queen of understated elegance is the “less is more” beauty. She always keeps her jewelry to a minimum. But it is that just right amount of luxe glamour makes her stand out.
