After the holiday season, my strapless cocktail dresses are just sitting in closet collecting dust. Short coats and jackets are great transitional pieces, they keep us warm without the heaviness of a long coat. I love how today’s featured ladies played with proportions by teaming skinny bottoms with their cocoon coat and fluffy fur jacket, respectively. Bringing in light, bright colors is also a great way to get in the mood for spring, like the convertible metal bar red bag and white sweater on Kate Hudson.
