Being a mom myself, I love watching fashion icons dress their babies. Miranda Kerr and her boy Flynn are definitely among my top style-crush list. I love how Miranda Kerr takes the intimate mother-son coordinating outfits to another level by ‘matching’ style instead of clothing. As showed above, from refined punk to laid-back casual, Flynn has become her best ‘accessories’.

In Chinese: 当了妈妈以后，我就有意识地开始留意那些同样做了母亲的时尚偶像们怎么打扮她们的小孩。超模Miranda Kerr和她两岁的儿子Flynn的出街装扮是我最喜欢看的。市面上有的亲子装、家庭装往往太过可爱，而且穿起来不合身，Miranda Kerr的搭配启发了我们，不要刻意去穿一模一样的衣服，可以从风格和色彩上进行搭配和呼应，比如今天所选的这两个造型，有酷帅的庞克风，也有活泼舒适的休闲风，Flynn俨然成了这个时尚辣妈最好的“配饰”。

Winter White: Party Glamour or Street Chic

Wearing white in fall/winter is modern and fashionable, but can be quite challenging. The key is to balance it with dark, rich shades and prints, combining with warm and luxe textures, like the black & leopard accents, and a mix of jacquard, tweed, leather and haircalf spotted on today’s featured ladies.

I also love how these two icons took their looks to the next level: Blake Lively gave her crisp monochrome ensemble a futuristic vibe with a silver bag and mirrored sunglasses while Miranda Kerr offset her ladylike tweed jacket with a pair of heavy distressed jeans and comfy loafers.

In Chinese: 这几季的潮流打破了色彩的季节感，春夏穿黑灰，秋冬穿粉或白已经不是什么新鲜事了，但是寒冷的季节穿这么浅的颜色还是很具挑战性的。搭配的关键在于用深暗色调、和秋冬常见的动物纹以及温暖的材质来增加季节感，像Blake Lively 和 Miranda Kerr今天的这两个造型里看到的黑色和豹纹的单品，以及提花、粗呢、皮革和马毛等颇具温暖感的材质。

此外，个性的配饰或者有强烈对比的组合也能提升整个造型的新意和潮流感，比如Blake Lively用银色的手拿包和同色的眩光太阳镜给经典的黑白造型以未来感；Miranda Kerr则用一条破洞牛仔裤和平底鞋把典雅的花呢夹克穿出了带有些许庞克风的随意街头感。

Faux Fur Style: Day to Night (Part II)

It’s not the first time I featured Olivia Palermo styling her fur cardigan for day and night (check her previous looks here), today let’s share two more outfits of her, learn how to recycle the same piece for various occasions.

Since fur has the connotation of being formal and stodgy, for a daytime look, we need to downplay it by adding bright colors and youthful elements. Here, Olivia Palermo teamed hers with edgy leather pants and biker boots, and brought in colors via accessories like an artful scarf and cherry red satchel.

For a glamorous evening look, we want to bring out the luxurious side of fur but still keep it up-to-date. Olivia Palermo chose rich jewelry tones like emerald green, crimson red and deep brown for a picturesque fall look and kept it current by mixing this season’s favorite textures and hottest hues. Her bared legs also balanced out the bulkiness of fur.
