Throwback 70’s: Flared Jeans

Thanks to her slick middle-parted hair, structured tote and minimal detailed tops, Miranda Kerr made this 70’s flared jeans new and fresh. If you also favor this silhouette, I recommend looking for a pair lies somewhere between a flare and a bootcut. It’s flattering and very versatile. The length is also crucial. Wearing a crisp white trousers with frayed ends is not cool. Spend some time in front of the mirror, with the platform you plan to wear with the jeans, find the right length which should be within an inch or less of the ground. Some recommend wearing flared jeans with flats, I would say do so only if you have supermodel legs, but even super model like Miranda Kerr still went for platforms.

Sporty Luxe: Mesh Sweater & Track Pants

This season is all about getting sporty. Two key words to keep in mind when rocking the sports trend: 1. ‘Inspired’, which means don’t take the trend too literally, leave your workout clothes inside the gym, shop for pieces that have a sporty touch, like the white sweater with mesh sleeves on Olivia Palermo (above left). 2. ‘Luxurious’. Designers have been taking sport pieces to another level with luxe materials like silk, crepe and cashmere. You can also upgrade yours by pairing them with glamorous counterparts like a sexy Christian Louboutin mesh pump or an eye-catching It bag.

In Chinese: 这一季运动风当道。要穿出潮感而不是像去健身房的路上，只要记住两个关键词：第一，运动元素。你要找的是包含运动元素但不是真正具有功能性的单品，比如在奥利维亚·巴勒莫 (Olivia Palermo)这两个造型里看到的甜美的针织衫加入了运动风格的网状拼接。第二，奢华。这几季设计师们纷纷出招，运用奢华的面料，比如真丝、绉绸和喀什米尔给把平民化的运动单品注入了奢华感。如果不想投资这么贵的运动单品，你也可以通过搭配来提升奢华感，比如配上性感的高跟鞋或炙手可热的品牌手包。

A sweet floral dress combined with tough ankle boots is my favorite summer night look! Classic yet modern, sweet and edgy. Since ankle boots can cut you off, making the legs look shorter, the length of the dress and some styling tricks are very important. Look at the style savvy above, it’s not by chance that they both chose dresses 3 inches above the knee. A coordinating belt or high waist design further elongates the legs. With a pair of cool shades and hands-free crossbody bag, think of nothing but enjoying your night!

In Chinese: 碎花洋装搭配上帅气的踝靴是我最喜欢的造型，可以从春天一直穿到早秋，参加夏日晚上的户外派对也最适合不过。这个搭配经典又有潮感，甜美又率性。但踝靴有个最大的问题就是会截断我们的小腿，所以选择合适的裙长再搭配一些造型技巧就非常重要，比如上面的这两个造型，她们都选了膝上约三公分的裙长，这个长度适合大多数身形。除了裙长外，高腰及收腰的剪裁也很重要，或搭配上一条彩色的细腰带，都可以在强调腰线的同时拉长腿型。配上酷酷的太阳镜和斜挎的小包，就能轻松享受夏日派对了。
