Military Chic: Army Jacket

Can fashion be practical and comfortable? Absolutely, military jacket is a brilliant example of that. It’s a great piece to throw on year-round. It goes with everything from basic T-shirt and jeans to glamorous maxi dress or polished pencil skirt. It compliments almost any color (from neutrals like brown to brights like orange) and prints (like stripes, leopard or florals).

A great tip on styling utility jacket is adding a luxe or feminine touch for the boy/girl vibe. As you can see from Olivia Palermo above, the camo pants, sleek boots on her enhance the utility chic while a floral printed blouse, haircalf skinny belt, designer handbag, ballet flats adding that delicate, luxurious touch.

I especially appreciate her attention to details: the pushed up sleeves showed off her beautiful sheer blouse underneath, a skinny or vintage belt highlighted her tiny waist, the unbuttoned shirt revealed just right amount of skin…
