New Handbag Crush: Givenchy Obsedia

Even though this outfit itself best exemplified effortless chicness, it was Rosie Huntington-Whiteley’s newest bag that caught my eye–her enviable Givenchy Obsedia. This beauty showed up in the house’s spring/summer 2014 collection. Besides the timeless yet modern color combinations, I love how practical it is. It has a detachable and adjustable shoulder strap, two compartments (one at the front with branded twist lock closure, one at the back).

My favorite part? The front flat can be tucked in for a whole new different look, which also means that you can carry it with the logo or logo free, kinda like the Luis Vuitton Capucines, but costs less than half as much. And does the sophisticated palettes remind you of Celine Trapeze? Will ‘Obsedia’ be the new ‘Antigona’?

In Chinese: 今天的这个造型简约随性又不失女人味，但最吸引我的还是罗西·汉丁顿-惠特莉(Rosie Huntington-Whiteley)的新款手袋：来自纪梵希2014春夏系列的“Obsedia”。一露面就迅速打败“Antigona”，成为了我愿望清单里排在首位的包包。它的造型和色彩兼具古典和摩登气息。可拆卸也可以调整长度的肩背带以及前后两个隔间大大提升了它的实用性。

最让我倾心的设计细节是它前面像信封一样的翻面可以折进去，不但有了完全不同的新感觉，而且提供了显示品牌标识和不显示两种选择，对于我这种不喜欢Logo, 在很多场合更不想让包包识别度太高的人来说再合适不过。这个设计非常像路易·威登的‘ Capucines’，但价格还不到一半。另外它的优雅的拼色设计也让我想起了另一款总是被一抢而空的IT包–赛琳的‘Trapeze’。你觉得这个包会成为下一个炙手可热的’Antigona‘吗？

When I read the news that it took designer Marcus Wainwright a whole year to develop the now widely loved Boy Tee, I was not surprised. I’m very picky when it comes to white tees, and always on the hunt for that perfect one, I know how hard it is. When I find the right one, I do not hesitate to stock up even before I check the price tag–For me, it’s priceless: A perfect white tee makes me feel great every time I wear it; It goes with everything, fits any occasion and can be worn year round, on its own or layered. It makes dressing in the morning less daunting, because I know that when everything else fails, I can always count on my perfect white tee. Besides my new favorite Boy Tee, J.Crew and T by Alexander Wang are also my go-to places for the right one. Next on my wishlist? This make-you-feel-like-a-million-bucks one by The Row.

There are many ways to rock the denim-on-denim trend: 1. Mix up the shades. Personally, I prefer wearing darker shade on the top, lighter on the bottom, as it’s more unexpected; 2. Mix up textures, like the patchwork and ripped details seen on Miranda Kerr here; 3. Matchy-matchy. This is the hardest to pull off in my opinion, since the combo may make us look dated. Accessories are key in this case. Miranda Kerr modernized hers with a streamlined roomy tote and right-on-trend mules, finishing off with fresh face and natural hair.

In Chinese: 单宁配单宁正流行。要玩转这个风潮，试试这些不同的搭配方法吧：方法一，把不同水洗色的牛仔单品搭配在一起，我个人喜欢把深色的穿在上面，下身穿浅色。方法二，运用细节丰富层次感，比如在这两个造型里看到的拼接和破洞等。方法三也是我觉得最难的：同色的牛仔单品的搭配，对于这种很容易显得过时的搭配，配件的选择就很关键了，比如超模米兰达·可儿(Miranda Kerr)选择了简约的大容量手包、最夯的穆勒拖鞋和清新自然的妆发来增加年轻和时尚感。
