Crop top is definitely not a youth trend . Pair it with classic high-waisted pencil skirt in graceful midi length as showed above, moms can rock this trend too. As for colors, understated neutrals like black, dove grey or innocent white balance out the sexiness. Since wearing white head to toe may make us look washed out, glowing skin, a bold lip or edgy accessories can help liven up the whole look.

Light colored faux fur jacket is a great transitional piece for early spring when we need that lightness and cheerfulness but still want to stay warm and cozy in unexpected chill weather. Here, Olivia Palermo & Kate Bosworth both chose jeans to dress down the luxe vibe of fur while modernizing the looks with edgy and futuristic accessories, respectively.

Thanks to leading designers like Karl Lagerfeld, Phoebe Philo and Miuccia Prada, Spring 2014 runway likes an art class. The bold face or brushstroke print maybe not for everyone, but one solid primary color is so much easier to pull off. My tip? When the color is eye-catching, keep the silhouette sleek and accessories minimal for a modern, sophisticated vibe.
