Fashion world gets nostalgic with the return of sneakers, friendship bracelets, and.. our featured piece today–overalls. Since we are not going back to childhood, pair your overalls with feminine pieces like the fresh cut-out tank on Alessandra Ambrosio and sophisticated cap toe ballet flat on Alexa Chung.

Speaking of Alexa Chung’s outfit, notice how she wears her trench coat? Sometimes, fashion is not about what you are wearing, but how you wear. All the pieces on her are classics we may already have in our closet, just by casually draping the coat over her shoulders like wearing a cape, she made the overall look fresh and current.

What better way to welcome spring than wearing florals? Gisele Bundchen polished up her casual floral pants with crisp white tops while Sarah Rutson made her floral pencil skirt modern with a cropped sweater. This street style shot (above right) of Sarah Rutson was actually took 2 years ago, I fell in love and kept it on file. It inspires me every time I look at it.
