White is definitely the color of summer–it’s crisp, fresh and cool. But how can we show off our personalities among many white ensembles? Well, get some inspiration from the stylish ladies I featured today. They were spotted using simple white pieces to create totally different but equally attractive styles: from Emma Roberts’s sweet look to Hanneli Mustaparta’s tomboy outfit; from Leslie Kirchhoff’s urban chic style to Burberry muse Cara Delvigne’s bohemian edgy ensemble, let alone the unexpected casual-white-T-and-ladylike- fishtail-skirt combo that was seen on the street.
I especially love shorts pairing. This season chic shorts are preferred over girly skirts–They can take us from beach to the office (by adding a white blazer to create a polished suit), which you can see from my pairing 1 and 2 below.
When it comes to ladylike skirt, I like to add a pop of neon (which echoes another huge trend), a fun element (like the look 3 below), or an edgy twist (like the look 4 below) to it.
