Do you believe a luxury brand can grow and bloom during wars when it’s even hard for people to stay safe? Well, Coco Chanel believes and her business grew strongly during the First World War.
In her opinion, women should carry themselves well and look good to support their husbands, I think what more important is to support women themselves when they were going through tough times.
It applies to today’s women too. As the center of a family, as a member of an organization, women should keep optimistic, stay strong. That’s what I feel when I saw this bright sunny yellow bag (picture from Instyle.co.uk):
I love how a small handbag can suddenly brighten up the whole black ensemble and make the look so unexpected and fresh.
I adore Chanel’s signature quilted design. The quilting part sewn at the back keeps the material strong while the diamond pattern gives the bag timeless chic look, what an art!
You can also found the yellow version below in Chanel’s Cruise 2012 handbag collection:
Another designer bag in vivid yellow that I love is this one from Mulberry, unlike the soft skin of the Channel bags, the leather of this bag is tough but equal charming. Check it in Pink, navy, brown and black.
Yellow is huge trend this season, lots of brands carry yellow bags that are affordable, like these two from Asos. Get them from here and here:
Yellow is a very versatile color like the blue I talked in my previous post. You can pair it with all the neutrals and use yellow pieces as your accent color .You can also pair it with patterns or with its complimentary color purple. Just have fun!
