The saying of god is in the details is especially right when it comes to making a basic look stand out. Take this look of Miranda Kerr for instance, all the pieces on her seem wardrobe basics we may all have, but hers are a little bit different: a leather jacket with trendy fringes, striped T shirt with a relaxed silhouette, skinny jeans with flattering high-waist design, basic pump with pointed toe and platform…

Why I love the looks: Gone are the days when you wore sneakers, you weren’t allowed in clubs and fancy restaurants, now the most stylish women are in sneakers.

Style Tip:
Sneakers can be worn with almost anything this season: from leather pants to cocktail dresses to suits, the key is picking the right pair, high-fashion one it is (hints: check the end of this post).
Unless you wear sneakers for workout, don’t pair them with sporty pieces, opposites are attractive.

Why I love it: Parisian chic with an American twist thanks to the wide striped body-hugging dress and sexy cut-out booties.

Style Tip: Resist the urge to add splashes of color. This season, black and white is just enough to make an impact.
