Bold floral pieces have the uplifting power. But how to make these Granny’s favorite modern and chic? Jessica Alba & Kyleigh Kuhn showed us in two different ways:

Jessica Alba went for a more-is-more approach by pairing her floral pull over with a statement necklace and colored handbag. It works because all these bold pieces are close to each other, thus they won’t compete for attention.

Kyleigh Kuhn turned in another direction by offsetting her floral top with slouchy boyfriend jeans and edgy peep toe booties. Her ‘less is more’ aesthetic is reflected through her clean updo, fresh makeup and minimal jewelry.

Olivia Palermo showed us how in two different ways: give them more punch with exotic accessories and geo patterns for a world traveler’s refined gipsy look or polish them up with sleek shapes and clean lines. The best tip? Let one piece be the focal point and build your outfit around it, like the crop top on Selena Gomez or the fringe kimono on Kate Moss.
