Olivia Palermo modeled three key strategies: First, keep the patterns in the same scale, like the yellow chain print blouse and black/white wave print skort she worn showed above left; Secondly, tie your patterns together with one or two common colors, as showed above right, Olivia Palermo pulled out the perfect-for-fall burgundy in both patterns, making them blend together harmoniously; Thirdly, tone down the loudness with neutrals, as seen in her first look above, it’s the understated vest, purse and pumps ground the boldness.
