Fall Party Looks: Mustard Yellow & Emerald Green

With countless holiday parties lie ahead, choosing the right dresses definitely stays at the top of my to-do-list. Festival colors like bright red & metallic, and jewelry tones like amethyst purple & rich claret are all great options for cold season.

I especially love mustard yellow and color of the year-emerald green, so I have to feature these two looks of Blake Lively spotted at fashion week. Besides my favorite colors, the dresses on her also incorporate some hottest elements this season like leather and embellishment.

For dresses in autumnal hues, team them with warm tone accessories, like a gold bracelet, a burnt-orange bag, burgundy or rich brown stiletto for picturesque fall looks.

In Chinese: 到了年底，少不了要参加各种各样的派对，穿什么永远是摆在最前面的问题。节日感强的红色或金属色，浓郁的宝石色等其实都是秋冬不错的选择。我最喜欢的是活泼中又不失稳重感的芥末黄和今年大热的翡翠绿。所以当我看到Blake Lively在刚过去的时装周期间穿的这两条裙子时，一下子爱上它们了。它们不但是我最喜欢的秋冬颜色，而且还结合了好些本季的流行元素像彩色的皮革以及星星点点的宝石装饰等。

像这样的裙装，配饰也选择暖色调为好，比如金色或玫瑰金的手环，暗橘色的手包，酒红或深棕色的高跟鞋等。

Year-Round Fashion Staple: Striped Blazer

As a piece combined two of our favorites–classic nautical stripes and sleek silhouette–striped blazer is surely a permanent resistant in our closet.

When hunting, look for details or special add-ons that make your striped blazer stand out, like the bold trim or flirty peplum seen on Oliva Palermo’s jackets (check out how she styled the same jacket for summer here)

Since stripes are so classic, you can style them as you do with other neutrals: team them with various of stripes, mix them with floral, leopard, polka dots, or brighten them up with pops of color.

Keep them fresh and current by adding of-the-moment accessories, be it a pair of mirrored sunglasses, menswear-inspired Oxford or a beanie, or infusing a fashionable element, like the sensational orange and pink color combination seen on Palermo.

Black leather boots with minimal embellishments, knee-high or slightly above, are such a functional and fashionable piece. They keep our legs warm while instantly polish up any outfit, exuding a cool and authoritative, tough yet sexy mood.

Team them with perfect fit skinny jeans, a chunky sweater and roomy yet eye-catching bag for strolling around the town. When the sun goes down, simply change the sweater to a delicate, feminine silk blouse, grab a classic quilted handbag which doubles as a clutch, and a bold lipstick, you are ready for a hot date or a girls’ night out!
